The time is coming round again for the Garden Party which has now become a fixture of the Hedingham Branch. This year it is to be held on Saturday September 10th from 2pm until 4.30pm.
We would like to invite you to the next meeting of our Conservative Policy Forum. This will take place on Monday 6th June at 7.30pm at the Kings Head, Gosfield.
Our next CPF meeting will take place on 14th March at 7.30pm at the Kings Head, Gosfield. The topic for discussion this time is “Strengthening families and communities”. Please let us know by responding to this email if you would like to attend and we will send you the briefing paper.
We were very fortunate to have the Secretary of State for Education, the Rt. Hon. Nadhim Zahawi MP to speak to us at our annual dinner at Howard Hall, Braintree.
We held our first Policy Forum meeting in person since the start of the pandemic! The topic for discussion was Our Relationship with the State. We had a very stimulating discussion and put forward our suggestions to the CPF team in London afterwards.
We wanted to put on an event specifically for our younger members and organised a bowling evening followed by a drink in the pub. James and Susie Cleverly joined us and we had great fun bowling and lively conversation in the pub afterwards.
